Rolf Method Agreement

Policies & Procedures:

At Ola Natural Healing, we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life.  Unforeseen events such as sick children, car problems, traffic considerations, business meetings, and deadlines are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment.  In my commitment to provide a unique and outstanding experience to all of my clients and out of consideration for my time, I have adopted the following policies: 

Arrival To Your Session

Please arrive to your appointment 5 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time.  All appointments have a specific time schedule and a slightly early arrival allows for a relaxed, unhurried experience.  If a late arrival is inevitable, your session may be shortened in order to keep on schedule.  Every client is important to me and since our sessions are for the full allowed time billed I want to keep everyone on schedule which helps keep everyones’ life a little more stress free…

The Rolf Sessions are done in your underwear & bra or two piece bathing suit ( for woman ), just underwear for men. Please be freshly showered and have no lotion or oil on your skin ( including hands, feet and face).  

Cancellation Policy

At Ola Natural Healing, I have a 24 hour cancellation policy.  Appointments that are made the same day are subject to the paying full price of the visit for a no show.  The reason for this is we are already within the 24 hour cancellation period the the appointment was booked. 

There will be a cancellation fee for any session not cancelled within the 24 hour time frame OR if you are moe than 15 minuted late for your scheduled time you are considered a no show. 

The No Show Fee is $100

If a client fails to cancel within 24 hours multiple times ( 2 or more), they will be asked to pre-pay for future services.  Please note if you are using a gift certificate, your certificate is subject to be redeemed and void and a fee of the difference between your gift certificate snd the price of the session scheduled will be due. 

Remember, we value our time as well as yours, and there may be clients looking for appointments at the last minute.  Cancellations or no-shows do cost us money.  I am not only here to help you feel better but to make a living as well.  Your business and health are both important to us.  

Late Arrival Policy

To be fair and courteous to my clients, and myself, appointments will be automatically cancelled 15 minutes after scheduled start time and charged according to cancellation policy.  I regret that late arrivals will not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when my schedule will allow, I may be able to accommodate a full appointment. This will be at my discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. 

Scope of Practice 

The purpose of The Rolf Method of Structural Integration is to balance and align the physical body so that it is supported and maintained by gravity in three-dimensional space. This is done through direct manipulation and education so that greater economy and freedom of body movement are achieved.

The Rolf Method of Structural Integration is not involved with the treatment of disease of any kind, nor does it substitute for medical diagnosis or treatment when such attention is needed.

A Rolf Practitioner does not treat, prescribe or diagnose an illness, disease, or any other physical or mental disorder of the person. Nothing said or done by a Practitioner should be misconstrued to be such.

It is necessary for the Practitioner to touch my body in order to assist in establishing balance and alignment in the body.  The client, has the right to refuse any portion of any session at any time or to discontinue the session at any time for any reason.

Furthermore, any relief of physical or emotional symptoms is coincidental in the organization of the total human being and is not the basic goal of The Rolf Method of Structural Integration.

All records maintained by the Practitioner regarding the client are confidential and will require prior written approval from the client to be released to anyone other than the client.

Payment is due in full at end of each session.

Refund Policy

I do not offer cash refunds.  If Prepayment is made and the client for whatever reason wants to not continue a gift certificate for the amount of unused sessions will be made. The gift certificate can be transferrable and must be used within the expiration period. 

Sickness Policy 

Ola Natural Healing recognizes that both therapist and clients are vulnerable to infections and given that we ask clients to cancel appointments when they are feeling unwell and I will do the same for you.  If you have any of the following (contagious) illnesses the Rolfing session will be rescheduled: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Sore Throat, Flu, Poison Ivy, Chicken Pox, Head Lice, Impetigo, Ringworm, Common Cold or anything that is, or could be contagious please reschedule your appointment as soon as you are feeling ill/  Cancelation feels will apply if we are within the 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.  However, we can credit those fees towards your next visit ( due to sickness ) if the appointment is rescheduled.  

Sexual Misconduct 

Sexual misconduct is forbidden. Client understands that any illicit or sexual aggressive remarks, advances or gestures will result in the immediate termination of the session and client will be liable for full payment of the scheduled appointment. 

Respect for Client Needs and Boundaries

The client may choose to stop the session at any time and is free to leave.  If the client terminates the sessions the client is liable for full payment of the scheduled appointment.  Clients will be kept informed when working in sensitive areas, or close to the genitals, breasts, and buttocks.  Occasionally, and emotional response to the work may occur.  If this happens, it is absolutely ok to express those feelings in my safe, nonjudgemental environment- or you may request privacy and / or end the session.  You are always in control of your session.  

Professional Boundaries

Requests for sexual activity will not be tolerated, will be viewed as solicitation, and may reported to the proper authorities.  The client will not be rescheduled if this happens.  The breast and genial area will not be touched under any circumstance.  

Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between client and myself is never appropriate.  On rare occasions and involuntary sensual response to the work is natural and should subside on its own in a few minutes. 

I do not work with anyone under the age of 18 without signed take form from parent/ legal guardian.  Parent must be present for the first session and must be the once to schedule the appointment(s).  Parent/ legal guardian must be present in the room for anyone under the age of 16.  

I have the right to refuse service and I or the client can end the session at anytime.  If I feel at any point that my safety is compromised, the session will be stopped immediately and the authorities may be called and full payment is due.  

Confidentiality and conversation 

The discussion between myself and the client is confidential.  The client may not choose to talk during the session for except when a verbal response is requested.  I am happy to listen to your conversation and share my professional expertise.  I prefer to not discuss topics of a political or private nature.
