What To Expect

A typical consultation begins with a comprehensive evaluation of your overall health based on intake information received from you in advance.   Health is balance. Being unhealthy is caused by an imbalance. The goal of a consultation is to find the imbalance that is causing ‘dis-ease’ and formulate a plan to bring the person back into balance. Together, you and I will discuss your unique situation in depth and determine how you would like to begin to introduce new and healthful habits.

While herbal therapy has been helpful to many people, herbs alone are limited in how much they can accomplish. To achieve truly deep and long lasting benefits, one must take a sincere look at the cause of the imbalance and be willing to make the necessary changes in either diet or lifestyle, including the physical, mental/emotional, spiritual or social aspects.

The three primary areas of help addressed during a consultation are lifestyle, diet, and herbs. Recommendations will be customized for you using the combined approaches of Western Herbalism, Indian Ayurveda, and Traditional Hawaiian Medicine.
